Day 93 by Lena Pflüger. lenapflueger.tumblr.com

Although the daily sketch is on the back burner for a little bit, I managed to submit a number to the 365 days of type project.
I picked number 93 because I like the shapes. I ‘cheated’ and did a pencil sketch before I did the copic drawing, because numbers are difficult.

I’m taking a short break from the daily sketch until I’m a little more caught up on my various projects. Some recent(ish) illustration work is queued up, and I thought I’d start with my reinterpretation of a griffin. Or maybe it’s a grion?
I drew this little guy a few years ago, and I like his feather mane a lot. He deserves a landscape, if not a book, to live in.

Day 41: Panic
I’m working on some urgent stuff, and mistakenly thought I was leaving for Bologna a day later than my actual flight date. This is the closest I can get to a travel sketch at this point o.O

This is an illustration I did for the Krickel-Krakel books, a series of creative colouring and doodle books for children.
Other animals have snuck into the bird party. Can you find them?
(No daily sketch on Wednesdays)
